PROFILE / CONTACT
I work with research through design, that is, with a critical design practice that questions ways of knowing, sensing and being.
I am a Researcher, and Professor of Design at Konstfack in Stockholm, Sweden. I obtained a PhD in design from HDK (School of Design and Crafts) in Gothenburg, Sweden. My thesis was entitled Devices. On Hospitality, Hostility and Design (2012). The PhD work was awarded the 2012 prize for design research by the The Swedish Faculty for Design Research and Research Education. Between 2013 and 2016, I worked on a postdoctoral project financed by the Swedish Research Council entitled: Symbiotic tactics.
I have previously obtained a Degree in Industrial Design from the National University of Córdoba in Argentina in 1995, and a Master in Design Studies from the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 1999. I have been working as a professional designer since 2000 and worked as a guest lecturer at numerous universities and institutions in America, Africa, Europe and Asia. Since 2006 my work is included in the IASPIS archive (The Swedish Arts Grants Committee).
What this website collects is a series of projects that inform my research as well as my activities as educator. For further inquiries,
