MCFIC

Material Cultures for Interspecies Cohabitation (MCFIC, 2023-2026) is a design-driven research project grounded on ecosemiotic theory that is considerate of meaning-making by humans and other species. It attends to various modes of perceiving multiple environments (Umwelten), particularly those environments most affected by the presence of humans such as urban ecosystems.

DESIGNING FOR INTERDEPENDENCE

This book is about the practice of designing and design's capacity to relate (or not) to beings of all kinds, human and others, in ways that are life-affirming.

DEVICES

Devices. On Hospitality, Hostility and Design, is the title of my doctoral thesis in design, which studies and speculates upon the interrelations among artefacts, humans and other-than-humans.
